Gas-fuelled Sauna Stoves for the Home
A truly authentic Russian banya stove is one of humanity's greatest inventions. People who experience a Russian banya feel totally renewed and given a new lease on life. Steaming in a Russian banya awakens vitality, lifts the spirits and brings body and soul into harmony. Regular use of a Russian banya restores health, aids weight loss and gets the body working like clockwork again.
Many find the Russian banya to be the most powerful and effective SPA programme of all. Its beautifying and detoxifying action works from the inside out and so results in long-term effects. That said, even after your first banya session you will notice its instant positive results.
The interior of a Russian banya consists of a vaporarium, a plunge pool, a shower unit and rest area. The sauna room will embrace you with its light steam and gentle heat. Here you can warm yourself through and indulge in "parenie", a thermal message using a "venik", a special sauna switch made of aromatic leaves. The plunge pool cools the body and the shower purifies. This is followed by rest. Then you repeat the cycle again allowing the banya to transport you into realms of delight. Welcome to nirvana!
The stone sauna stove is without question the heart of the vaporarium and the main attraction of the traditional Russian banya. The gas-fuelled stove is fitted with an automated gas burner and flue pipe. All stoves produced at Furnace Art Engineering have a number of quite unique properties due to the technical perfection of our design.
A gas powered stove will suit you if wood smoke is to be avoided, you want to build a sauna in your garden and the spare electric supply circuit available is less than 12 kW, or the steam room requires a stove with increased capacity. Even if there is no mains gas supply the stove can be connected to an autonomous Gazgolder (private reservoir for storing liquid gas).
